Jan 23, 2010 - I love seeing him enjoying the water and taking a bath. Very cool! I guess the movement of the water must be the trick...

Jan 23, 2010 - @cmrsf1 Thanks for viewing and for the nice comment. Yes, all the birds love the birdbath fountains because they are so shallow. I get all kinds of birds bathing and will be putting up more fun videos so check back later!

Feb 2, 2010 - Hello, You clip of the hummer bathing is awesome. The fountain is beautiful too. I visited your site briefly. We are just about finished with our house building and would seriously consider purchasing something for my garden. Beautiful artwork. ~~ Karen

May 6, 2010 - Pretty neat! I would never expect a hummingbird to take a bath, something about their petite-ness makes me think they'd drowned or something... Thanks for hosting video!

May 7, 2010 - @COMB0RICO The first time I saw a hummer take a bath on our Copper Birdbath Fountain my mouth hung open and my coffee cup was suspended in air for about 5 minutes. She came, hovered while circling the water leaf twice looking for depth of water, went up and tested the depth of the water with her tail and then sat down and bathed. It was awsome and brightened my day! Thanks for your comment!

May 15, 2010 - Wonderful video! Just a delightful vignette and yes, that bird is loving a shallow bath. As a kid, I remember we had such deep bird baths with no water movement. More birds were attracted to the sprinklers than to the birdbath - lol. I'll be checking out your website. Thanks for the bird sounds too! Very pleasing.

Mar 20, 2011 - @patssy7 Yep, I tried again and it will not let me send you my web site address. I keep getting error, try again! Sorry, I guess that you will have to email me. My business is Copper Garden Studio and I make all of my copper art functional and visual. Thanks and have fun birding! Heather

May 8, 2011 - That is an elegant birdbath. My "redneck birdbath" is a Pyrex Grip-Rite 3-Quart Oblong Baking Dish that costs about $10 and may last 1000 years.

catbirdfeeder Says:

Jun 4, 2011 - $445.00...you gotta be kidding me...get a grip...have you actually sold any of these beautiful fountains for $445.00? I want one but I was thinking...more like $75.00 at the MOST! Educate me on why this fountain is so expensive.

haeckhardt Says:

Jun 4, 2011 - First of all my fountains are high grade solid copper. Copper is a semi precious metal and quiet expensive in todays market. I do not use copper coated materials like from China. I hand craft all of my own products and it takes quite a lot longer than you might think to design and create a copper fountain. They are one of a kind not massed produced. If you are looking for something lower priced check out the "redneck birdbath" below.
